Absolutely! We encourage clients to bring their own ideas, references, or sketches. During the consultation, Kurtis will work with you to refine your concept and create a custom design that meets your vision.

Rest Well: Ensure you get a good night's sleep before your appointment.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your session.
Eat Beforehand: Have a substantial meal before arriving to keep your energy levels up.
Avoid Alcohol and Drugs: Do not consume alcohol or drugs at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Wear Comfortable Clothing: Dress in loose clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
-
Keep it Covered: Leave the initial bandage on for the recommended time advised by Kurtis.
Clean Gently: Wash the tattoo gently with warm water and a mild, antibacterial, fragrance-free soap.
Apply Ointment: Use a thin layer of a water based, fragrance free lotion as needed, to keep the area moisturized.
Avoid Submersion: Do not soak the tattoo in water; avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and baths during the healing process.
Protect from Sun: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning lotions or sunscreen for at least 30 days.
Do Not Pick or Scratch: Allow any scabs or peeling skin to come off naturally. When it itches, that usually means it is dry and need moisturizer. If the itch persists you can lightly slap your tattoo but do not scratch it!

Typically, the surface of the tattoo will heal within 2-3 weeks. However, complete healing beneath the skin can take up to 6 weeks. Healing times can vary based on the individual's health, the size and location of the tattoo, and how well aftercare instructions are followed.
